Here’s an introduction to a great looking site I just came across. Owner and writer, Mark McManus, is talking about bodybuilding generally, rather than abs training specifically, but don’t let that put you off because the basic principles he puts forward so forcefully are exactly in line with what we talk about in these pages.
Truth be told, probably few of us are interested in attaining the kind of physique the hard-core bodybuilders aim at, even if we had the time and dedication. And I’m very reliably informed, by the way, that no women find it in the least attractive either! But the point is that the methods that work for the hard core guys will also work for us lesser mortals. So if you want to flatten and harden that stomach while simultaneously burning away your spare tire, you need to focus on high intensity muscle building exercise and forget the monotonous cardio stuff.
